Glass

Glass is produced by heating a mixture of silica, soda ash, and limestone to a high temperature, creating a liquid that can be molded into various shapes. Glass is commonly used in food packaging because it is an impermeable material that can protect food from light, air, and bacteria, and can also withstand high temperatures. Glass packaging can be recycled, with the recycled glass used to create new glass products.
